Temperature sensors are devices used to measure the temperature of a medium. There are 2 kinds on temperature sensors:

Contact sensors:

Noncontact sensors:

However, the 3 main types are thermometers, resistance temperature detectors, and thermocouples. All three of these sensors measure a physical property (i.e. volume of a liquid, current through a wire), which changes as a function of temperature. In addition to the 3 main types of temperature sensors, there are numerous other temperature sensors available for use.

TC400 with display: The PT Compact with indicator represents a logical further development of the PT Compact family. The design is available either with 2 switch outlets or with one 4-20mA and one switch outlet.

PT compact: The measuring instruments of the PT-Compact family can be delivered based on either PT 100 or PT 1000 or as a high value measuring system with integrated transmitter (4-20mA/0-

Resistance thermometer acc. to DIN 43770: These modular design resistance thermometers are probably the image of industrial electrical temperature measuring instruments as a whole. The thermometers are used for temperature measurement in gaseous or liquid media at low or medium pressure up to 40 bar in the temperature range up to 650°C.

Thermocouples: Thermocouples are used for the measurement of high temperatures. Tecsis can supply the complete range of thermocouples.

Cable sensors: Cable sensors are used as resistance thermometer or as thermocouples. Mineral insulated cables are used for high temperatures over 600°C. Besides the array of standard products we offer costum solutions. There are no limitations to the creativity.
